Are there any alternatives to dentures?

Traditional dentures are no longer the only way to handle a mouth with little or no restorable teeth. Implants offer support for permanently cemented bridges, which can eliminate the need for dentures. While the cost can be greater, the implants and bridges "feel" more like real teeth. Implants are not the solution for everyone, but if you already have dentures adding implants can greatly increase their effectiveness. Call our office to find out more.

What are porcelain veneers and why are they used?

Porcelain veneers are very thin ceramic layers that bond to the front of your teeth. They can greatly improve the appearance of the front teeth by providing a whiter and/or reshaped smile.

Do over-the-counter bleaching products work?

While there is some evidence that over-the-counter products can whiten teeth, many are too abrasive and can damage the teeth if they are misused or used for a prolonged period of time. The safest and most effective way to whiten teeth is through your dental provider. Dr. An offers a variety of options for whitening your smile.
