Here at Medford Dental Clinic, our staff is commited to making your dental experience an efficient and stress free process for our patients. You will find plenty of excuses to smile after making your visit to our office.
Everyone deserves a healthy smile. That’s why at Medford Dental Clinic you’ll find quality care at reasonable prices— and an array of high-tech options to give you a gorgeous grin. From preventative exams and cleanings to cosmetic smile makeovers and restorative treatments including dentures, you’ll find plenty of reasons to smile.
Your initial appointment with our Dentist, Dr. An will consist of a thorough consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. You may have (lots of) questions and we’ll take the time to make sure you are comfortable with your best course of action. At Medford Dental Clinic, Dr An does his best to get treatment started and/or done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
When you decide to schedule an analysis by Dr. An at Medford Dental Clinic, the office staff will guide you on what information is helpful to make it an efficient and productive first visit.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit.
It is also helpful for our staff to have knowledge of any medical conditions that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) and/or if you are on any medications (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e antibiotics, for pre-med.)
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and durability. Placing custom veneers requires a high degree of technical skill as well as attention to cosmetic detail. We place veneers routinely at Medford Dental Clinic, and design each set individually to match and enhance the characteristics of each patient’s smile – including yours.
What will they look like?
When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, and even cigarette stains. For both strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options.
Just how durable are porcelain veneers?
With proper care, porcelain veneers will brighten your smile for Continue reading »
Most dentistry looks like dentistry which is too bad. Our goal at Medford Dental Clinic is to provide dentistry that is undetectable by your friends and family – at a price you can afford. We install crowns and fillings with restorations that look and feel like your natural teeth. And we often replace existing crowns and fillings because they look – you know – like crowns and fillings with better fitting, invisible alternatives.
Where damage to a person’s teeth is beyond repair, we can use porcelain or porcelain “pasted on gold” crowns to make your smile appear “like new”. This is an extremely reliable technique for repairing the most severe of dental problems, even permanently replacing missing teeth to provide you a complete smile and a proper bite. We are renowned for the quality of our work and the fantastic changes we make for people using this technology. These treatments are used for a long-lasting correction of major dental problems. It is usual for these treatments to last for 20 to 30 years, which is as close to permanent as dental treatment gets.
How long does it take to fit a crown?
Fitting a crown requires at least two visits to our office. Initially Continue reading »
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that their teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. These implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for new artificial teeth. In addition, dental implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.
Dental implants are changing the way people live! With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.
